Interested” international organizations continue to “turn a blind eye” to the problem of political prisoners in Armenia. This was written by Tigran Abrahamyan, secretary of the “I Have the Honor” faction of the National Assembly.
“International figures who regularly welcome the ‘positive process’ in relations between the Republic of Armenia and Azerbaijan fail to acknowledge the presence of Azerbaijani troops on the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, ‘fail to notice’ the arms race unleashed by Azerbaijan, and its approach based on force.
The same international figures who speak of democracy and human rights fail to acknowledge the genocide committed against the people of Artsakh and the rights violated, and fail to ‘see’ the lawlessness perpetrated against the Armenians in Azerbaijani prisons.
“Interested” international structures and diplomatic missions continue to “turn a blind eye” to the problem of political prisoners in Armenia, giving priority to their own geopolitical interests.”
