Iran struck 10 strategic US checkpoints and equipment installations in Bahrain, according to a statement from the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
“Iran fired missiles at 10 key and strategic US checkpoints and equipment installations at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain,” the statement read.
The destroyed targets at the airbase included an air traffic control center, aircraft refueling tanks, and a building housing senior US military personnel.
According to the IRGC statement, the airbase’s infrastructure was completely disabled, and US military personnel withdrew from the facility.
