Iran to change capital

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced the start of developing a plan to move the capital of the republic. This was reported by the ISNA agency.

According to him, the president appointed his first deputy Mohammad Reza Aref responsible for preparing the plan.

“We want to continue bringing primary resources from the south. From land and sea to the center and turn them into products and then export them, if we send them to the south, this will seriously devalue and reduce our competitiveness. We have no choice but to move the economic and political center of the country to the south and to the sea,” Pezeshkian said.

According to the Iranian president, if the problem is not solved, environmental problems will arise in Afghanistan.
