Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Armenia on a two-day official visit.
As reported by Armenpress, the Iranian President is met by RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan at the Zvartnots Airport in Yerevan.
It is known that after the visit to Armenia, the Iranian President will visit Belarus.
Ahead of the upcoming visits to Armenia and Belarus, the Iranian President met with high-ranking officials in Tehran. According to information distributed on the official website of the Iranian President, issues of possible cooperation with Armenia and Belarus in the fields of energy, transport, trade, investment, healthcare, environmental protection, science, culture and tourism were discussed.
It is noted that the parties identified the main problems and opportunities for cooperation, and discussed strategies for their solution.
During the meeting, the upcoming agreements and memorandums of cooperation between Iran and Armenia, as well as Iran and Belarus, were also discussed, emphasizing their speedy implementation.
On August 19, an Armenian-Iranian business forum will be held in Yerevan as part of the visit of the Iranian President.
