Iran’s Foreign Minister’s Speech at Nuclear Policy Conference Cancelled in Washington.

Iran’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations has confirmed the cancellation of Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi’s keynote speech at a nuclear policy conference in Washington, Mehr reported.

The New York mission said in a statement on Monday that the Carnegie Endowment had canceled Araqchi’s speech at its 2025 nuclear policy conference.

According to the Iranian mission, the cancellation occurred after the conference organizers decided to change the format of the speech to a debate.

The mission added that the full text of the canceled speech would be published in the media.

“According to some reports, the Carnegie Endowment canceled the speech due to “orchestrated pressure” from the Israeli lobby in Washington,” the Iranian media outlet wrote.
