The Iraqi Prime Minister’s Office issued a statement warning of the grave consequences of the international community’s silence over Israel’s attacks on Iran.
“The occupying Zionist entity continues its aggressive policies and expands the conflict in the region with outrageous attacks that it carries out with impunity. This time, it has targeted the Islamic Republic of Iran with an airstrike on Iranian targets early this morning.
Iraq has previously warned of the grave consequences of the international community’s silence over the brutal actions of the Zionist entity, including its attacks on our people in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and now this new aggression against Iran.
Iraq strongly condemns this attack, expressing its solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Iraq reiterates its unwavering position calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon and urges comprehensive regional and international efforts to maintain stability in the region,” the Iraqi government said in a statement.
