ISIS claims responsibility for killing of Afghanistan refugee minister in Kabul

The ISIS terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the explosion in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, which killed Khalil Haqqani, the Afghan minister of refugees, Amu TV reports.

In a statement released Wednesday, the group said Haqqani was the main target of the attack.

According to the statement of ISIS, their “liaison successfully overcame the security obstacles” and reached the ministry building in Kabul to carry out the explosion.

The attacker waited patiently until Haqqani left the ministry, accompanied by aides and bodyguards, after which he detonated his suicide vest.

ISIS said Haqqani was killed in the blast, along with several members of his entourage.

Earlier, the media reported about the death of the minister of refugee affairs of Afghanistan as a result of the suicide bombing.
