French President Emmanuel Macron spoke on the phone with the honorary chairman of the Georgian Dream Bidzina Ivanishvili, the ruling party reports, SOVA reports.
“Macron expressed concern about the situation in Georgia and expressed a desire to contribute to the full resolution of this situation. In turn, Bidzina Ivanishvili thanked the French president for the initiative and supported the idea of joint efforts,” the party reports.
Ivanishvili and Macron agreed that they will contact each other again in the coming days and assess the progress achieved. The conversation lasted one hour, according to a statement from the Georgian Dream.
