Jaguar has announced when it will stop producing new cars. The concern’s CEO Adrian Mardell told Autocar that the F-Pace crossover will be removed from the assembly line in the first quarter of 2026.
This Jaguar will be the last of the “old” wave: in the summer of 2026, the next-generation luxury electric car should appear in showrooms. Thus, the British brand will not supply and sell new cars for at least three months.
Adrian Mardell’s statement is true for the global market, and in the UK, sales of new cars have already been curtailed; dealers across Europe will then switch to used Jaguars. Nevertheless, Jaguar Land Rover’s profit from April to September 2024 increased by 25% compared to the same period last year.
