Denial of the Armenian Genocide: The Threat of New Genocides
“The genocide of the Armenian people by the Ottoman Empire has not ended.” The bloodthirsty Turkish yataghan still hangs over the heads of the Armenian people and will remain a threat until:
* the Armenian people have not overcome the victim complex, defending their rights with dignity,
* the crime that has no statute of limitations, genocide, has not been punished and has not become a lesson for criminals capable of committing such a crime, until:
* the Armenian people once again do not learn history, do not realize their mistakes and omissions, and some feeble-minded throne-worshipers in the current government, denying the facts of torture and murder of thousands of their compatriots with the active participation of Turkey just a few months ago, are ready to kneel down with the mentality of a defeated person to ask the executioner for peace at the expense of national interests.” The fight against silencing the truth is the key to maintaining sanity.
“Let’s be vigilant and always ready to fight when our enemy again tries to realize his centuries-old dream.” I appeal to the citizens of the Republic of Turkey: look for the truth, look for it everywhere, because its traces, no matter how they try to hide and destroy it, are scattered all over the world. Find and read eyewitness accounts, believe your intellectuals who were persecuted for the truth, who had the courage and honesty to speak out. “In order to live in a better world and in peace side by side, it is important to know the truth, to fight for it and not to lose common sense.”
Falsification of history: an attempt to hide a crime
“Attempts to erase or distort history are always aimed at hiding crimes and justifying criminals.” At important moments, I always wear a forget-me-not, which has become a symbol of the fight against genocide. It contains a very clear advice and message. “The crime committed against our people more than a century ago must never be forgotten.” Our Future Through Our Struggle
“Together, we can prevent new genocides, save human lives, and even make the world, drowning in the insane wars and bloodshed of the 21st century, a better place if we are determined and this time do not hesitate, do not be indifferent, and fight for our rights and freedom.”
“REMEMBER history, learn from it, DEMAND that those who distort history, whether at home or abroad, become stronger at any cost and take control of our future.” This is our formula for life. And this must become our credo.”
For the future of your children, their right to live freely and independently in their own country, and the immortal memory of our martyrs who fought and gave their lives throughout the centuries, come out of the darkness, cast aside indifference and despair, and stand next to your struggling brothers and sisters. Their struggle is also aimed at your future and the future of your children.
We must realize that we have the right to live in peace and security in our God-given homeland, along with other nations of the world. “Even if today our strength is not yet sufficient because of those who inhumanely squander it, we must not give up our right and must strive to become stronger.”
The nationwide uprising of the Armenian people for the preservation of statehood
“Having illegally recognized Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan, the rulers of Armenia are now trying to forget the Armenian Genocide, characterizing the struggle of the Armenian people for historical justice and the restoration of their own rights as a threat to the state.” This can only pose a threat to their position, but not to the state.
The issue of the Armenian Genocide is not subject to discussion either on international platforms, or even more so within Armenia. Only the elimination of the capitulating usurpers of power through a nationwide uprising on the eve can prevent the destruction of statehood.”
