Lately, Kocharyan has been actively seeking people to form his list for the National Assembly elections. It seems that list formation has become less a process of building an ideological team and more a mere race for seats. Lacking new faces, new proposals, and new political rhetoric, they are trying to achieve new success using old methods.
At the same time, Kocharyan, at every opportunity and at every inopportune moment, declares that he will “fight” or that “the time is on their side,” but this is more of an attempt at propaganda than a statement with a real programmatic basis. The majority of society will no longer succumb to traditional scenarios where a formal list is formed first and then unfounded promises of victory are made.
Today’s political arena demands a different way of thinking, new approaches, and responsibility. No one can gain trust with just loud phrases or meaningless commands. If the entire political strategy consists of finding people on a list and constantly declaring victory, then this is a sign of weakness, not strength.
Politicians need to understand that gathering faceless people on a list doesn’t guarantee winning over people.
