The authorities of Kuwait and Bahrain have stated they reserve the right to retaliate against Iranian strikes.
Earlier, Iran’s Fars news agency reported that Iran launched missile strikes against American military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait.
“The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirms its right to self-defense in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter,” the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
Bahrain, for its part, stated:
“We reaffirm our absolute right to respond to attacks and take any measures in self-defense.”
