On September 18, the Lori Regional Criminal Police Department received operational information that a 66-year-old resident of Kimiagortsneri Street in Vanadzor was growing cannabis in a garden near his home and producing a narcotic similar to marijuana. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The man was detained and taken to the regional department.
A criminal case has been opened, as a result of which, during an examination of a storage room adjacent to the home of the 66-year-old Vanadzor resident, 102 grams of dried, crushed cannabis were discovered, 35 grams of the same amount were found on a table, and cannabis plants were found in the garden.
The detainee was taken to the pretrial investigation department with the documents drawn up.
A preliminary investigation is underway.
