Last night, Azerbaijan fired continuously for about 4 hours from combat positions located in the direction of the village of Khnatsakh. Secretary of the “I have the honor” faction of the National Assembly Tigran Abrahamyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“If in other areas – Aravus, Khoznavavar or Jermuk – shooting was carried out according to the traditional schedule – from 22:30 to 4:30 in the morning, every 2 hours and in short bursts, then from the Azerbaijani positions in Khnatsakh, shooting was carried out in bursts with a maximum break of 5 minutes.”
Moreover, the shelling was carried out not from one, but from several Azerbaijani positions.
“No matter how much the authorities insist that the shootings are mostly irregular, the proximity of Armenian settlements to the front line creates a rather tense and dangerous situation both for our positions and for border villages,” he wrote.
