Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has arrived in Tehran on a visit, RIA Novosti reports.
Lavrov will hold talks with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi in the Iranian capital, as well as, as the Iranian Foreign Ministry reported, a number of meetings with officials in Tehran. Before that, he visited Turkey.
The minister’s visit comes just over a month after Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian visited Moscow, where he held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on January 17.
