The Anti-Corruption Committee has arrested lawyer Ruben Hakobyan.
According to preliminary information available to the media, the case concerns alleged interference in the administration of justice or the investigation of a criminal case being conducted in the Lori region.
Ruben Hakobyan is the lawyer for Serzh Sargsyan, the third president of Armenia, and Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the Our Way movement and the Strong Armenia party.
The Anti-Corruption Committee’s press secretary did not respond to our phone calls.
