Left turns from Grigor Lusavorich Street to Argishti Street will be completely prohibited: the city hall is conducting experiments

A change will be made to the traffic organization on Surb Grigor Lusavorich Street from June 24. This was reported by the Yerevan City Hall.

In particular, at the intersection of Surb Grigor Lusavorich and Argishti Streets, left turns from Surb Grigor Lusavorich Street to Argishti Street will be prohibited.

From Beirut Street to Argishti Street, instead of the previously permitted “straight and right” traffic, traffic will be allowed in the “only right” direction, towards Surb Grigor Lusavorich Street.

It should be noted that a few days ago, a change was already made on this section. In particular, previously, it was possible to turn left from Surb Grigor Lusavorich Street to Argishti Street from two lanes, but a few days ago a change was made, and left turns were allowed only from one lane. This led to the collapse of the metro, as a lane was also allocated for buses.

Apparently, they saw from the windows of the city hall what their “innovation” led to, and now they have decided to ban left turns altogether.
