The Sinquefield Cup 2025 classical chess tournament of the Grand Chess Tour series continues in St. Louis (USA), where the games of the 6th round were held.
As reported by Armenpress, the former leader of the Armenian men’s chess team Levon Aronian, who plays under the US flag, also shared a point in this round. In the 6th round, Aronian’s opponent was Wesley So. On the 36th move of the game, the grandmasters agreed to a draw.
Now Aronian is half a point behind the leader Fabiano Caruana and has 3.5 points.
