Lukashenko: Provoking a conflict between Belarus and Lithuania will not succeed

Regarding the conflict with Lithuania, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated that no one will succeed in provoking a conflict between the two countries.

“If they (Lithuanian and Western forces) try to stir up some kind of conflict here, they are unlikely to succeed. We will always reach an agreement with the Lithuanian people, just as we will with the Poles. They are our people,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.

“If you want normal relations, then sit down at the negotiating table and discuss these issues. We are ready for this. There are no other options. And there are unlikely to be any,” Lukashenko told Vilnius.
