Maybe you fought not against the suit of the super prime minister, but for it? Question to Pashinyan

“Mr. Pashinyan, when you refused in 2018, we justified this with the statement of the third president that no one has the right to lead the Republic of Armenia more than twice, and now you are applying for the post of prime minister for the third time. Maybe then you fought not against the suit of super prime minister Serzh Sargsyan, but to fit comfortably into it?” Nikol Pashinyan answered the question as follows.

“What I said was about Serzh Sargsyan’s public promise not to run for the post of prime minister.

And as far as I know, in countries with a parliamentary government, there are no restrictions on the number of nominations for the post of prime minister, and these issues are regulated by party elections, the tradition of which we are transparently creating today.

In Europe, there were leaders who ran for office 3, 4 or even 5 times and won.”
