Medvedev called Macron a “brainless Gallic rooster”

Russia does not accept any NATO troops in Ukraine under the guise of “peacekeepers” and does not need such “security guarantees,” stressed Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said that the “coalition of the willing” created at the initiative of France and Great Britain should deploy support forces in Ukraine “on land, at sea and in the air” as part of future security guarantees.

“A brainless Gallic rooster cannot refuse the idea of introducing troops into “Ukraine.” It was said directly: no NATO troops as peacekeepers. Russia will not accept such “security guarantees.” “But the hoarse, pathetic bird continues to call the snipe, proving that he is the king among birds,” Medvedev wrote in X.
