Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia is sending “negative” signals regarding the high-level meetings and the peaceful settlement of the conflict, so “pressure” is needed. The corresponding publication appeared on his Telegram channel after a conversation with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
“Now, unfortunately, the Russians are sending negative signals regarding the meetings and further developments. The shelling of our cities and villages continues,” Zelensky wrote.
According to him, Moscow will only consider “strong pressure on all of this.” Zelensky said that it is necessary to organize appropriate pressure, and Ukraine “hopes for this.” He believes that Russia should take steps towards real diplomacy.
