Moscow to formulate its position after Miami meeting: Peskov

Russia has the opportunity to formulate its position and continue negotiations with the United States through existing channels following the visit to Miami of Kirill Dmitriev, the Presidential Special Representative for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund. This was announced to journalists by Dmitry Peskov, Russian presidential press secretary.

“We now intend to formulate our future position based on the information received from the head of state and to continue contacts through existing channels in the very near future,” he said.

Peskov noted that the Kremlin does not consider it appropriate to disclose to the press the specific documents and agreements that Kirill Dmitriev, the Presidential Special Representative, brought back from Miami.
