Elon Musk agreed with user X that California is the worst leader in the US.
“California has the best soil and the worst leaders in America. Gavin Newsom’s (California Governor) failed water and forest management policies have turned fires that could have been easily controlled into destructive infernos,” a California resident wrote in X, after which Musk commented on the post, writing “True.”
Earlier, the son of the US President-elect Donald Trump Jr. also criticized the California governor. “Oh, of course, the LA Fire Department donated some of their equipment to Ukraine,” he wrote, accompanying his post with two news stories from 2022 about the transfer of firefighting equipment to Ukraine.
The total area of fires in Los Angeles County has reached almost 11 thousand hectares, according to data from the California Fire Department. The fire has destroyed more than 1 thousand buildings and led to the deaths of at least five people. More than 175 thousand electricity customers in the county remain without power.
