We all stand and will continue to stand by the church. When people in a country are arrested not for actions, but for words, it is no longer the problem of an individual person, the problem is different: what will Armenia be like? Free or afraid. When issues in a country are resolved with insults on social networks, and at that time your country is confused with Cambodia or Albania, it concerns all of us, our honor. Tatev Karapetyan, the daughter of national philanthropist, businessman Samvel Karapetyan, said this in a video published on her Instagram page.
“It has been 121 days since my family has stood not only by my loved one, but also to protect the rights and values of every citizen of the Republic of Armenia. My father is under arrest for the words that stand by the church. We all stand and will continue to stand by the church and defend our values.
My father always reminds us that if a stone forgets which mountain it was cut from, it turns into dust. We cannot be turned into dust. Tomorrow, on October 18, at 4:30 p.m., I am waiting for you at Freedom Square, not for anyone, but for you, for Armenia,” he noted.
