Our political team will offer the country a new development path. Vice President of Tashir Group of Companies Narek Karapetyan stated this in a video message published on his Facebook page.
“Apart from Yerevan, most of our regions are experiencing population decline, and there are no institutions and structures that would ensure long-term development. There is no alternative to industrialization of the country. The main problem of our country is work. Our political team will offer the country a new development path: a region will be selected and an industrial development program will be created on its basis. Let’s start with Vanadzor,” Karapetyan said.
According to him, only three large factories have been built in Vanadzor over the past 30 years.
“After the collapse of the Soviet Union, our industrial potential was destroyed, and in recent years we have tried not to restore it, but to provide employment for people through small service enterprises. The population of Vanadzor cannot but decrease if there are no factories in the city. “The only option to activate the economy and increase the population in the regions is to build factories,” said Narek Karapetyan.
