Pensions in Armenia will begin increasing on April 1. For 623,353 people, their pensions will increase by 10,000 drams or more, and for 39,594 people, by approximately 8,500 drams.
This has been revealed to be a potential inflationary factor.
Central Bank Chairman Martin Gastyan told reporters today that they have factored this into their inflation calculations.
“Yes, according to our estimates, this could lead to inflation of 0.2 percent,” Gastyan said.
