Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to negotiate with Vladimir Zelensky, among others. However, Zelensky’s legitimacy as the leader of Ukraine is questionable, Dmitry Peskov, the Russian head of state’s press secretary, noted at a briefing, TASS reports.
“Putin himself has repeatedly said that, if necessary, he will negotiate with Zelensky,” Peskov recalled.
“At the same time, the legal fixation of the agreements is subject to serious discussion – taking into account the reality that speaks of the possibility of challenging the legitimacy of Zelensky himself,” the Kremlin representative added.
