Poland is completely closing its border with Belarus. This was reported by the Polish MFA.
The department noted that this is due to the upcoming joint military exercises of Russia and Belarus “West-2025”, which will take place from September 12 to 16.
“The decision was made for security reasons, since the border with Belarus is also the border of the Schengen zone,” the MFA statement said.
Poland will completely close the border with Belarus on the night of September 11-12.
The Polish authorities also announced that restrictions on flights along the borders with Ukraine and Belarus will come into force on December 9.
