Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that it would be preferable for Russia to achieve its goals and ensure its security through political and diplomatic methods, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, RIA Novosti reported.
“Russia consistently adheres to the view repeatedly expressed by our head of state that it would be preferable for us to achieve our goals and ensure our security through political and diplomatic methods,” Peskov said.
