Kyiv initially rejected the Russian initiative for an Easter truce, but then the Ukrainian authorities were “prompted” to agree to it. This opinion was expressed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, TASS reports.
“We saw the initial reaction, I think everyone noticed it, a statement was published according to which our proposal was considered a game with destinies, with people’s lives, and so on. But, apparently, someone smarter was found who suggested – most likely, foreign curators – that rejecting such initiatives is a losing position for the Kyiv regime, and they quickly agreed,” the Russian president emphasized.
