Putin met with Lukashenko in Minsk

Russian President Vladimir Putin began working together in Minsk with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko. The official meeting ceremony took place at the Palace of Independence, TASS reports.

To get around Minsk, as always during foreign trips, Putin used a domestic representative car “Aurus”.

Lukashenko met Putin inside the palace, not far from the entrance. The leaders shook hands, hugged and had a short conversation on the go.

Then the leaders will hold the Supreme State Council of the Union State together, where they will discuss various issues important for both countries – from defense to communications tariffs. The signing of joint documents is also planned for December 6. After the main program, Putin and Lukashenko will hold a separate meeting.
