Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law ratifying the agreement with Iran on a comprehensive strategic partnership; the corresponding document was posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts, RIA Novosti reports.
The agreement was signed on January 17, 2025, during the visit of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Moscow.
According to the document, the parties seek to deepen and expand relations in all areas of mutual interest, strengthen cooperation in the field of security and defense, closely coordinate activities at the regional and global levels, which corresponds to a long-term, comprehensive and strategic partnership.
