Putin: Sufficient number of “Oreshnik” cancels the need to use nuclear weapons

A sufficient number of “Oreshnik” actually cancels the need to use nuclear weapons. Russian President Vladimir Putin said, TASS reports.

“We are not toughening the nuclear doctrine. We are improving it. And so, by and large, we now need to improve not the nuclear doctrine, but “Oreshnik” Putin stated. He explained that “if we understand, a sufficient number of these modern weapon systems puts simply on the brink of practically no need to use nuclear weapons.”

Therefore, according to the president, Russia is behaving quite carefully and even restrained in all directions. “But where necessary, we show the necessary will at the state level and at the level of citizens of the Russian Federation, who live here and want their children to live here, who consider Russia their homeland and are ready to do everything to strengthen it,” Putin summarized.
