Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to India on December 4-5, the Kremlin press service announced.
The visit will take place at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“The visit is of great importance as it provides an opportunity to comprehensively discuss the entire broad agenda of Russian-Indian relations: a special, privileged strategic partnership in the political, trade and economic, scientific and technical, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as current international and regional issues,” the Kremlin statement read.
A meeting between the Russian President and Indian President Draupadi Murmu is also scheduled.
Following the Russian-Indian talks, a joint statement will be adopted and bilateral interdepartmental and trade and economic documents will be signed.
