The new medium-range missile system “Oreshnik”, which has already proven itself well, is a very powerful weapon, the simultaneous use of several such systems is comparable in power to the use of nuclear weapons. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the Defense Ministry board, TASS reports.
“The Oreshnik system, which has already proven itself well, is very powerful – I want to repeat this once again, specialists know. The commander of the Strategic Missile Forces is here, he thinks so and told me about it,” the president shared. “With complex use, with the group use of several systems at once, this is comparable in power to the use of nuclear weapons.”
