Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent an important signal to the West that Moscow remains willing to resolve the Ukrainian conflict peacefully, but under certain conditions. This was reported by TASS, according to L’AntiDiplomatico.
The article’s authors believe that Putin “has developed a scenario for the development of the Ukrainian conflict.” In their view, the Russian leader’s main message is that “Moscow has long sought a negotiated settlement and insists on the possibility of a diplomatic solution today, provided security conditions are ensured.”
L’AntiDiplomatico also notes that Putin stated at the “Year in Review” conference that US President Donald Trump is “making serious efforts” to resolve the Ukrainian conflict and is doing so “absolutely sincerely.”
