The expansion of the railway network between Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Turkey will have a significant positive impact on regional trade: this was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Kars-Igdir-Aralik-Dilucu railway line.
“This railway is of great importance both for our country and for the entire region,” he noted.
According to him, the commissioning of this line will increase production and exports in Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, improve transport infrastructure and increase the tourism potential of the Mediterranean.
