A rubber manufacturing plant has caught fire in Istanbul, Turkish media reports.
The burning plant is located in the Ikitelli industrial zone in the Basaksehir district. It is a low building – only three floors.
After receiving a signal about the fire, firefighters, an ambulance and the police were sent to the scene. 66 firefighters are extinguishing the flames, using 19 units of equipment.
At the moment, three people have been rescued, who were blocked by fire and smoke on the roof and could not get out on their own. There are no reports of possible victims or casualties.
