One of the original investors in the Russian Atom electric vehicle project, Ruben Vardanyan, has withdrawn from the Russian Atom electric vehicle project and, as a result, lost his assets in the auto business, Kommersant reports.
His stake may be distributed among other co-owners, including KamAZ CEO Sergey Kogogin, or sold to a new investor. Experts remain skeptical of the Atom project due to the relatively high projected price of the vehicle.
