The deployment of “Coalition of the Willing” troops in Ukraine will be considered a legitimate military target, and their deployment after a peace agreement is absolutely unacceptable. This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.
“This (the deployment of “Coalition of the Willing” troops – ed.) is categorically unacceptable for us. Russia has repeatedly stated that the deployment of Western troops, under any flag, on Ukrainian territory would pose a threat to our security.
We will consider these troops a legitimate military target.
These “Coalition of the Willing” troops will be led by Great Britain and France. All of this, of course, is blatant plans for foreign military intervention. That is exactly what it should be called,” Zakharova noted.
Let us recall that yesterday, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that armed forces of the “coalition of the willing” will appear on Ukrainian territory on land, at sea, and in the air immediately after the signing of a peace agreement with Russia.
