Russia opens criminal case over Azerbaijanis’ behavior at Moscow university

The Investigative Committee of Russia for Moscow has opened a criminal case over a video recording of students from the Moscow University of Finance and Law calling for “cutting the Russians.” This was reported by the Investigative Committee of Russia, Lenta.ru reports.

The department reported that a video is being distributed on social networks in which young people with a foreign flag in one of the capital’s educational institutions “allegedly chant illegal slogans.” The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, has taken control of the investigation.

In the comments, opinions regarding the translation of the young people’s calls were divided. Some users believe that the students are saying “Cut the Russians, Azerbaijan,” while others believe that “Long live Azerbaijan.”
