There are certain contacts between the foreign ministries of Russia and the United States, but there is no point in disclosing their details now, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told RIA Novosti.
“I have nothing to add to what the presidential spokesman said. There are certain contacts, and I have no reason to cover any details on this topic. But in general, the process is ongoing,” Ryabkov said.
He added that there are no agreed schedules of contacts between Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump as of today.
According to him, Moscow receives various signals from Washington regarding the conflict in Ukraine, but in practice it has not yet seen a change in the US course.
