Russia’s retaliatory measures against the EU’s freezing of Russian assets will not be delayed. This was announced by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova, according to TASS.
“Brussels is carefully concealing the fact that citizens of EU countries will pay for their political ambitions. Our response will not be delayed,” Zakharova emphasized.
He noted that the Bank of Russia published a detailed statement on this issue on December 12.
“Concrete steps are already being taken. On the same day, the Russian regulator informed the Moscow Arbitration Court of its filing a lawsuit against the Euroclear depository for damages caused to the Bank of Russia,” the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson reported.
