Current affairs and plans for the future. Presumably, at the request of the president of the neighboring country, where I have been on the international wanted list since June 18, 2021, 4 years later, on the same day in 2025, June 18, I was arrested by an Armenian judge in Armenia and am spending my third day in a prison cell.
My family and I have done everything possible all our lives to help the Republic of Armenia and the Armenian people. I want to briefly talk for the first time about the scale of what has been done. I am sure that over the past seventeen years, we have only doubled the investments of Armenians from all over the world in our homeland and created jobs so that our people can live in their homeland and earn their daily bread, which we have always modestly kept silent about.
But only here did I realize that our homeland today needs the will to fight and not give up. Every day, meeting prisoners in the corridors and on visits, I am amazed at how many young people of blooming age are here, and I am sure that many of them, like me, ended up here on the basis of illegal decisions, and some for minor offenses. And, not afraid of the presence of guards, they shout that I am their last hope. And from today on, we will invite to the base of my human rights group impartial lawyers ready to support and try to review similar cases of the last seven years and fight for the violated rights of any Armenian. I am ready to allocate funds for all this.
Justice and honesty will soon be restored.
We will fight.
