As a result of large-scale investigative and procedural actions carried out in the framework of criminal proceedings initiated in the Investigative Department of Yerevan of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia on the grounds of crimes under Part 1 of Article 43-308 and Part 1 of Article 335 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, on the facts of preparation of terrorism, as well as illegal circulation of firearms, their main parts, ammunition, as well as other materials, devices and objects, including, as a result of searches conducted at a number of addresses, an electric detonator (detonator) designed for remote activation, its components, a combat grenade, a combat grenade detonator (fuse), gunpowder, radio communications equipment, and other objects and objects of interest to the investigation were discovered.

At the moment, 7 people have been detained, one of whom has been charged under Part 1 of Article 43-308 of the Criminal Code (preparation for terrorism).
The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
