Several countries have restricted the work of their embassies in Ukraine due to security threats

The Spanish Embassy in Kyiv announced that it would not provide services during the daytime due to possible security threats.

The diplomatic mission notified citizens of the kingdom living in Ukraine by mail. The embassy advised the Spaniards to strengthen security measures, as well as “follow all recommendations of local authorities” and be aware of the locations of shelters.

In turn, the Italian Embassy in Kyiv also announced that it would not receive visitors during the day due to possible security threats. “As a precaution, the embassy in Kyiv will be closed to visitors today, but it continues to operate,” the embassy website says.

“In the event of an airstrike,” the embassy advised Italian citizens in Ukraine to observe security measures and “immediately go to the nearest shelter.”

Earlier, it was also reported that the US Embassy in Kyiv was closed.
