US Vice President J.D. Vance believed that it was possible that in the event of a personal meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, they would be able to agree on territorial and security issues. RIA Novosti reports.
In an interview with Fox News, Vance was asked whether it could be expected that during the meeting between Putin and Zelensky, the main details of the agreement on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, in particular territorial and security issues, would be “discussed and generally agreed upon.”
“That’s a good question. I think if the bureaucratic process is completed, the answer would be ‘yes’… Sometimes, leaders sitting face to face can overcome a deadlock that their teams cannot always manage,” Vance replied.
