Adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader on International Affairs Ali Akbar Velayati has warned against the so-called “Zangezur Corridor,” stressing that Iran will take tough retaliatory measures, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Telegram channel reported.
He sent a warning to a number of countries in the region and beyond in response to the resumption of discussions on the “Zangezur Corridor.”
The official stressed that Iran will not remain indifferent to its interests and the interests of the region, noting that any attempt to implement illegal projects in the South Caucasus will be met with a decisive response from Tehran.
“I remind you that any government in the region or beyond that tries to repeat the previous unsuccessful attempt will face a tough response from Iran,” he said.
