There is fertile ground in Armenia for the formation of new political forces. This fertile ground is confirmed by all sociological studies, as well as by the fact that the existing political formations, whether opposition or pro-government, have unfortunately become too rigid and inflexible today, including us. And even this theoretical analysis shows that for any new opposition force to emerge, the interest of the rest of the opposition forces is necessary. This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia Armen Ashotyan at his press conference.
“As for the new political events specifically related to the name of Samvel Karapetyan, I can say more clearly: we, the Republicans, are interested.
We are interested in having a new, as far as possible, ideologically significant force in this field. The stronger this force, the better. But I think we are a little hasty in this matter.
I would like the team working on Samvel Karapetyan’s political project not to rush with questions and answers. There are public expectations, but this media and political discourse should neither rush these people nor delay them.
The Republican Party is a good friend of all opposition forces in the political field,” Armen Ashotyan said.
